The Problem

Patchwork 2026 needed to be a cleaner version of their previous event, Patchwork 2025: All Patched Up. The goal was better clarity, structure, and simplicity for attendees.

With 500+ entrants moving across multiple brackets, players and spectators needed to be able to find the correct information easily.

The Process

  1. Designed one cohesive event experience. Web, social and on-site materials shared one look.
  2. Structured multi-bracket schedules. Schedules became easy to navigate and scannable for quick information.
  3. Reviewed and revised with staff. Schedules and infographics were updated after review, before reaching attendees.

Calendar graphics

Worked closely with the Patchwork team on the calendar date graphics, that way every date was accurate and easy to understand for the players who needed it.

Infographics

Turned program details into infographics for the set-up discount, carpool incentives, and vendor, commentary and volunteer sign-ups. Each followed one layout with one clear call to action. 100+ signups throughout all forms.

Day-of schedules

Designed Saturday and Sunday schedule graphics for event day, organizing multiple brackets into one scannable layout for players and spectators.

Attendee badges

Extended the event identity onto the floor with attendee badges, so the Patchwork heart logo and the same colors reached every person who walked in. Worked closely with Patchwork staff to make sure print materials fit properly while taking into account the file types and ratio sizes required, and accounted for CMYK on the print badges as well. 500+ badges designed, ordered, and printed out.

More event graphics

Rounded out the event with additional graphics in the same visual system, so every touchpoint read as one event. 50+ high quality graphics created.

Placement graphics

Ended event with placement graphics, which helped finalize results for viewers on Patchwork’s platforms.

The Outcome

Patchwork 2026 ran as a cleaner, more cohesive event for 500+ entrants, with schedules and infographics that were clearer for attendees.

Calendar dates, sign-up forms, and day-of schedules gave players a clear path from registration to the final bracket, with 100+ sign-ups coming through the forms. From the first announcement to the placement graphics, 500+ badges and 50+ graphics kept the whole event in one consistent visual system.
